Every roof gets the same no-pressure treatment, but the solution strength and the way we access it are dialed in to the material you have.
Asphalt shingle is the most common roof around here, and it’s the surface where algae black streaks show up most plainly. We soft wash it only. High pressure strips the granules right off a shingle, so we never point a pressure washer at a shingle roof.
Tile gets a stronger solution concentration, and the crew works every edge and angle where growth likes to hide, which adds some time to the job. There’s no pressure involved, because high pressure cracks tile.
